Located in Belek, Antalya, Carya Golf Club is distinguished as the first and only 18-hole golf course in Europe to be fully floodlit. Designed by Thomson Perrett & Lobb, the firm founded by legendary Australian golfer Peter Thomson, the course is a pioneering project that brings the classic English "Heathland" style to the Mediterranean coast.
Opened
in 2008, Carya was meticulously built on undulating sand hills surrounded by
pine and eucalyptus trees. Unlike other courses in the region, it offers
players the atmosphere of a traditional British parkland through its strategic
design and extensive heathland vegetation. Furthermore, the course has proven
its world-class quality by hosting prestigious international organizations such
as the Turkish Airlines Open.
